Visitor Information
- Admission tickets for the Secret Garden must be purchased 15 minutes before the
entry time. During the peak seasons(Spring & Fall), long lines at both the ticket office and
entrance are expected. Please arrive early to avoid delays.
Foreign language tours are for foreigners only. Please limit your Korean companions to maximum 2 on the foreign language tours (Your ID card would be submitted if
necessary).- Visitors to the Secret Garden are required to join a guided tour.
※ Only 100 tickets are available for each tour. - Closed on Monday
How to View
- Tour duration is 90 minutes(70mins at the hottest and coldest seasons).
- Royal Palace Pass holder must exchange the Secret Garden Voucher for a valid ticket at ticket office, on a first come first served basis. Purchasing a Royal Palace Pass does not guarantee entrance to the Secret Garden.

How to Book
Select Date : On-line booking must be made prior to the tour date. Reservation
window starts to open from 10:00 am, 6days in advance until one day before the
tour date. (e.g. if your visit is Dec. 8th, booking can be made from 10 am on Dec.
2nd).Booked tickets should be purchased till deadline for payment (If not, the reservation automatically expires)
- Deadline for payment : within 24 hours of reservation (However, reservations made on the day before the observation date must be made by 23:59 on the day of
reservation.)Join the Membership:
Prior to booking, you need to join the membership. Your E-Mail address is your ID. Please use proper E-Mail address. (Necessary when reserve, confirm and cancel)Select a time in view of the language(Korean/ English/ Chinese/ Japanese):

Ticket reservations are limited to 10 tickets per person a day.
※There are 100 tickets available per tour. 50 for on-line bookings and the rest are for walk-ins on the day of tour, on a first come first served basis.Payment: Credit Card only
The deadline for payment: Within 24 hours of your booking (When booking a ticket a day before your visit, it needs to be purchased by midnight on the day.)
e.g. ①Your visiting day is on Dec. 11th
If you booked tickets 10am on Dec. 8th, you should purchase a ticket before 10am on Dec. 9th
e.g. ②Your visiting day is on Dec. 11th
If you booked tickets 10am on Dec. 10th, you should purchase a ticket before midnight on the day.
No discount for a group(refer to the discount policy)
The secret garden tour is not included in the general palace tour. If you purchased tickets of secret garden, you should purchase admission tickets as well.
After payment, please check the confirmation sheet at "My Page".
You can issue the ticket at ticket office or ticket machine on the due date.
Or you can enter the palace with mobile ticket.

How to enter the palace

It is not possible to enter with a printed confirmation.
Only a valid ticket will be accepted for entry to the Palace grounds.
How to use mobile tickets
Mobile tickets once used are not valid.
- Visit the web site of the palace → Click the Tour reservation → Log in → Click My Reservation
Your mobile ticket or e-ticket will be activated on your phone as of 30 min. prior to the starting time of the Secret Garden Tour you reserved.
※ Only one type of tickets, either paper or mobile tickets, can be issued per reservation.
Please present your mobile tickets at the main gate.

Secret Garden Guided Tours
